Announcements followed after which the following boys were ad vanced in rank: Tenderfoot: Jimmie Heatherly, Sandy Phillips, Evan Arledge. Second Class: Donald Arledge, Julian Capps, Pred Eargle. Merit Badges— Aviation: Billy Dick. Bird study: Phil Morris. Harrison Brridge- First aid to animals: Marion Edwards. Public health: Mlarion Edwards. Safety: Julian Capps. Woodcarving: Bobby Bishop, Billy Dick. Bronze Eagle Scout palm: Dick Arthur. Gold Eagle Scout palm: Bobby Dick. Negro Scouts who appeared be fore the Court for advancement were: Second class rank: Herbert Hannon, Stanley McClure, Artie Hamilton. $2.00 PER YEAR CHRISTMAS PROGRAM AT TRYON SCHOOL “Christmas Windows,” a play in pantomime, by Mayme Chris tenen and Flora M.
