In Basketball
locals got away to a slow
Friday night and were
never able to catch up with the
visitors.
The high scorer for Tryon was
Melton with 17 points. Mclntyre
of Stearns scored 22 points and
Foster 15.
The second team of Tryon was
defeated by Stearns’ second, 19
to 7.

The annual meeting of the Tryon
Riding and Hunt Club will be
held Tuesday, January 13th, at
8 o’clock in the Fox & Hounds
Room at Pine Crest Inn. The
directors are requested to meet
at Pine Crest Inn the morning
of the 13th, at 10:30. President
Carter P. Brown says plans for
the season’s activities are to be
discussed.
