Red Cross Workroom To
Be Open All Day
Beginning Monday, the 19th, the
Red Cross workroom at the Parish
House will be open daily except
Saturday from 9:30 to 1:00 and
from 2:30 to 5:00. The new hours
are designed to give all an oppor
tunity to do their part.
Wool is now available at the
Parish House for these wishing
to do home knitting.
Four-Year-Old Boy Dies
Os Ruptured Appendix
Gerry Jackson, four-year-old son
of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Jackson of
Landrum, died at St. Luke’s hos
pital about 2:30 this morning fol
lowing an emergency operation.
