The house is locat ed on the old Greenville-Ruther fordton stage coach line, one of the oldest roads in this section and is near Prince Fort on Paco let River where a battle of the Revolutionary War was fought. This is the first time the property has been out of the hands of the Earle family since the original land grant from the King of England.
