in a ceremony at the heme of
Dr. and Mrs. E. E. Bomar in
Landrum, S'. C., on Saturday af
ternoon at 7:30 o’clock. Dr. Bo
mar performed the ceremony in
the presence of a few friends.
Mrs. Arledge is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Vetu s Mclntyre of
Columbus, and has been employed
at the Adams-'Millis Corporation.
Mr. Arledge, a son of-Mr. and
Mrs. Basil Arledge, formerly of
Greer, S. C., but recently of Try
on. He is employed by the Tryon
Police Department.
Mr. and Mrs. Arledge will make
their home in Tryon.
Colonel Burkhead Speaker

tired, who recently moved to Try
on to make his home will be the
chief speaker at the Tryon Ki
wanis club on Tuesday at 1 p. m.,
at Oak Hall hotel. Colonel Burk
head spent many years in Pnerto
Rico and is expected to speak of
the life in the West Indies. R.
