“KEEP ’EM WORKIN’ ”
That slogan tells the whole
story. The American Red Cross
and the British War Relief So
«' y in Tryon have a fine staff
volunteer workers who labor
;ssantly to provide the gar
onents so badly needed. There’s
only one way to “keep ’em work
in’ ” and that is to help them get
the funds they need for the pur
chase of materials. Hew to do it?
That’s easy. Com e to the Bingo
Party which is to be held at the
Lanier Library on Saturday eve
ning at 8:30 o’clock. There’s lots
of fun to be had and you can
spend as little or as much, as you
like. The larger the number cf
people, the bigger the cash prizes.
We’re all in this together and
that’s a compelling reason why
you should attend this party, which
will benefit your own country and
your country’s ally, Britain. The
nroceeds will be equally divided
between the Red Cress and the
British War Relief workrooms.
Sf-'J your friends about it and ask
Wdhi to make up a party. Let’s
go, Tryon!—Contributed.
