Invited to Hear Speaker
Rosamond Wimberly of
Converse college will speak at
Oak Hall hotel on Monday after
noon at 4 o’clock. Subject,
“Church Women’s Work in Civi
lian Defense”. All women of the
community are invited to hear
Mrs. Wimberly tell of the very
vital work which is being done so
\vell_in Spartanburg. The meeting
is being held under the auspices
of the Woman’s Auxiliary of the
Episcopal church, which will hold
a business session at 3:30. Those
desiring to hear Mrs. Wimberly
may come at 4 o’clock.

The bride has been the Polk
County Health Nurse for the past
three years and she will continue
her work here while her husband
