What about it being just 18 degrees above freezing in Tryon just one week from June, and yet you’ll hear some of our winter visitors say how they would hate to be here in the summer time. Every year more of them find out how comfortable it is in Tryon during the summer. They find there is a mountain breeze blowing nearly every night and that blankets are necessary in the mornings; moun tain hikes and picnics, boating and swimming at Lake Lanier, golf, tennis and swimming at the Country club, horseback riding, softball an-j numerous other ac tivities besides war work, Red Cross and other civic projects . . .
