Herod, president, United China Relief, Inc. “You will be interested to know that in obtaining 643.9% of your quota, you and your committee have done the No. 1 job in the Unites States in respect to over subscribing your quota. He said that a farmer doing work by hand that could be done by electricity is working for less than a cent an hour .... One of the cleverest announcements ever received in Tryon is that from Mr. and Mrs. Harry Marsh who announce their moving from 707 Greenwood, Wilmette, 111., to How ard Gap Road, Tryon, North Caro lina, after June 15th.
