Tryon Bird club has been called to meet at Oak Hall on Monday, the 29th. It is hoped that all members will attend, as a matter of great importance will be de cided. Colonel Arthur Smith has most generously offered his lands, lying on both sides of Vaughn’s Creek from the Newmarket Road bridge up to the railroad trestle, to the club, for use as a wild life sanctuary, at no cost to the club. I This beautiful glen lies almost within the town limits, and has long been a favorite walk for nature lovers. The land comprises about 100 acres, partly cleai^d, but mostly in woods.
