Noah E. Williams, 86, promi
nent farmer of Polk county, died
at his home on Mill Spring Route
ji. on Sunday evening. Mr. Wil
irWms was a native of Rutherford
bounty, but had made his home
in Polk County for many years.
He is survived by his widow, El
len Williams, and six daugnters,
as follows: Mrs. Dovie Lynch, Mrs.
Lizzie Edwards, Mrs. Ocie Gilbert,
Mrs. Penola Bennette, Mrs. Mat
tie Mae Whitesides and Mrs.
Tina Williams.
Funeral services will be held at
the Big Level Baptist church on
Tuesday at 2 p. m., with the
Rev. Dewey Hodge officiating
Burial will be in the church ceme
tery.

Tryon Graphic, newspaper of that
city, and sent on to Tryon, N. C.
Local hotels and inns are being
given Mr. Durban’s name and
