Dear Sir:
Your newspaper is the talk of
the Medical Detachment, Station
Hospital, Camp Davis, N. C., due
to the efforts and loyalty of 1st
Sgt. John R. Constance, one of
your home town boys.
__ It seems that we all look for
ward to reading your paper just
eagerly as does 1st Sgt. Constance.
It’s come to the point, sir, where
we would like to have a few lines
written about him in your paper,
more or less as a surprise to him
and to let his friends know about
his fine work here in the Station
Hospital.
/cldtet. Constance has been in the
d^ted States Army for over four
(A) years and has demonstrated
his'ability as a leader and advisor
here iij the Medical Detachment.
We look forward to having him
promoted to Master Sergeant in
the near future and hate to see
the day we have to lose him as
our 1st Sergeant.
We would apreciate a few lines
about him and hope you will be
able to help us in this matter.
Thanking you very much,
■ John G. Goumas,
And the EM of the Medical Det

as the siren is heard and keep
