TRYONSCHOOL Sixth Grade: Friday at the as sembly hour the sixth grade, un der the direction of Miss Gamble, will present “Down on Old Mac Donald’s Farm”, a play written by Loch Steele. Farmer MacDonald is played by Dick Dalton. The little people of the farm yard are represented by members of the sixth grade. Chicks: Anne Hoots, Eleanor Henry, Jean Arledge and Glenn Morgan. Carolyn Blanchard, Beth Cooksey and Emily Rose Brantley represent a flock of ducks. The members of the pig family are Jack Eargle and Legon Flynn. While the dog Woofle and the cat, Tabby, are played by Ansel and Martha Jane Day. Farmers, Richard Blackwell, Dair Kuykendall, Grady Under wood, Raymond Anderson, Robert Owens, Don Arthur, Carl Beust, James MacDade, Loyd Comer, and Bruce Settle. The Farmerettes are played by Mary Ann Morris, Betty Jo Gos nell, Barbara Gray, Louise Kuy kendall, Louise Robinson, Martha Bishop, Betty Je^n Speigle, Betsy Burns, Mildred Fisher and Sarah Capps. Polly Alewine is the pro gram announcer. Second Grade: We have been working very hard on spelling.
