MEET YOUR FRIENDS AT “THE PRESCRIPTION STORE” OWEN’S PHARMACY, Phone 202. WALGREEN AGENCY RED CROSS NEWS The American National Red Cross has decided to postpone the Roll Call of November 1942, and to conduct it in connection with the next War Fund Campaign early in 1943. The official name of that campaign will be the “1943 *Red Cross War Fund and Roll Call”. Barring unforeseen emer gencies, the dates of the campaign will be March 1 to 31, 1943. The purpose of the campaign will be to raise all the funds required by the national Organization and by the chapters for substantially one year’s activities. However, all announcements of the campaign will include the usual provision that, in the event of major na tional disasters or other major emergencies, the Red Cross will take such immediate steps to raise funds as may be necessary. — Walter S. Gifford, president of the American Telephone and Tele graph Company, will serve as National chairman of the 1943 Red Cross War Fund.—Contributed. Mrs. Charles L.
