C. , after a visit with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Kimberly are leaving today for Washington, D. C., to spend the holidays. A son was born this morning at St. Luke’s hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Grover Essler of Green^ Mrs. P. D. Karsten, Jr., left ^ day for Raleigh to join Mr. Kars ten for a week’s visit there. Miss Anna Backman of New York City is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. W.' C. Ward. J. B. Watkins of Lincoln, Neb., is here for a visit with his mother, Mrs. L. H. Watkins. Mrs. Jim Edney is a patient at St. Luke’s hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Norman H. Prince, who have been here on a ten days’ stay at the Auberge, are returning today for New York where Mr. Prince is with Norman Bel Geddes & Company. R. M.
