plans, floor furnishings, and farm
and home plans . . . Mrs. Ella
Fowles has heard from her son,
J. E. Fowles, radioman in the
Navy. Says he received the Home
Friendly club Christmas greeting
written by Mrs. Gray and that
he appreciated the thoughtfulness,
prayers and recognition given the
men in the service by the Tryon
people .... Friday, Jan. 1st,
is national prayer day by pro
clamation of President Roosevelt.
