Salvage Notice On account of the closing of the Try on Public School, the Town Management has taken over the duty of col lecting waste paper, scrap metal, etc. Collections in the vicinity of the Southern Merceriz ing Plant will be made by Boy Scout Troop No. 3, under the supervision of Scoutmaster Ravan. This material is urgently required for purposes con nected with the war. and everybody is expected to assist an the salvage. Everything made of paper or pasteboard is needed. Newspapers, etc., should be placed in bundles and tied around both ways. Scrap paper, kitchen cartons, etc., should be packed tightly in cartons and securely tied. Stores are requested not to destroy large cartons as these are needed for packing and should be given out for that purpose. Scrap metals should be accumulated and held for collection. A great many tin cans are still going to the dump. These are particularly needed and in spite of the trouble involved they should be prepared and held for collection. Persons living outside the Town Limits are requested to deliver materials at the basement of the gymnasium, as convenient in good weather. o, Waste fats . should be delivered at the Ballenger 'eat Market, in metal containers of one pound or more. Two meat ration points will be allowed for each pound of fat. The following schedule of collections will be observed: PAPER—Every Wednesday.
