Ella have the McFarland house on Hender son street. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Hammond of Greenwood, S. C., are in their home on Smith Hill. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. James (Buddy) Burford on June 19th in Graham, S. C. The baby will be named for his grandfath er, James Clarence. Mrs. C. O. Cooper and family are at the Melrose cottage. Mrs. Marvin Patterson Fincher has opened the Dining Room at the Sky Vue hotel. Mrs. Grover Byers (Nell John son) had a very bad fall of about twenty-fice steps on Saturday at the “Lucky Tavern”. It is hoped she was not seriously injured. £ill Tinsley is visiting his brother, John, in Knoxville, Tenn. This is his last furlough home. Mrs. Fred Hendershot is the guest of Miss R. E. Blair. Miss Blair has just returned from the hospital in Hendersonville where she spent a few days recuperating from a cataract operation.
