Naval Training Center, Bainbridge, Md. William Elf rink of the Merchant Marines has recently visited his mother, Dr. Blanche Elfrink in Atlanta, Gat, after an absence of five months during which time he took part in the invasion of Southern France. ✓ v Sgt. John Fuldner has moved with the armed forces from France , to Belgium and likes the country very much. ~ Mrs. Walter Foster of Columbus has received an interesting letter from her brother. Sgt. Dwight Moore, who is in New Guinea. He said the Japs were in such a hurry that they _ left them some nice frying chickens, and the letter itself was written on some Jap stationery which had orange col ored lines to write on for orie side, and colored squares on the other side. He also sent some Kodak pictures of New Guinea life in cluding natives on the march, .parachutes and planes coming down, and a fox hole. Marvin Edwards, Jr., Sl|c of Jacksonville, Fla., spent the week end at home with his parents. He is now in a Naval Printing office. Mrs. A. R.
