G. B. LAUGHTER
G. B. Laughter, 67, of Saluda,
died this morning about 10:30 at
St. Lukes hospital where he was
taken Thursday. He had been ill
for several weeks. Mr. Laughter
was the father of Mrs. JSb Bishop
of Tryon. Funeral arrangements
have not been completed.

When movable tables and chairs
are to be placed on a polished
floor, cut pieces the size of a quar
ter or a half-dollar from an old
felt hat and glue them to the
bottom of the chair and table legs.
This will prevent scratching of
floors.
