Bacon had charge of the Rotary program Friday and had as his guests three ser geants of the Army Air Forces who had completed their required missions oyer enemy territory, in three different theaters of war. S|Sgt. Francis Chapman, who recently returned from the Euro pean theater of operations was the chief speaker, and he held his audience spell bound with the thrilling experiences he and his bomber crew have had in bomb mg Germany and occupied .Bel gium and Prance. Sgt. Chapman also exhibited a number of inter esting souvenirs brought back from the war. For his bravery and d^'mtion to duty he has received v ^Jamber of medals including the KPc, Purple Heart, Good Conduct and a number of Oak Leaf Clus ters with the Air Medal. Another guest was S|Sgt Fran cis Pickens Durham who complet ed his missions in the Mediterra nean theater, and who had ad dressed the Rotary some weeks ago. ♦ The third guest was T|Sgt. Glenn Foster of the 14th Air Force in China. He arrived home on Thursday for a visit with his wife and other relatives.
