SNOW IN OHIO Dr. J. E. Derby had charge of the Tryon Kiwanis club program Tuesday and entertained the mem bers with an account of his recent trip to Ohio, where the snow was piled high, and traffic conditions were terrible. Dr. Derby spoke of business conditions and profession al changes that have taken place since he left Ohio about 15 years ago. Rev. and Mrs. C. P. Burnett had as guest during the week-end, Warrant Officer John Crewz, a native of Kentucky, who spent the past three years overseas in North Africa and Italy in Capt. Robert Burnett’s company. Capt. Burnett is a son of Rev. and Mrs. Bur nett. Just before leaving for Co lumbia, S. C., where he was to get married on Tuesday, Officer Crewz told Mr. Burnett that the men certainly did enjoy the Tryon Daily Bulletins received overseas by Capt. Burnett.
