Gallimore to serve on a committee with a represent ative of the chamber of commerce to promote a milk production pro gram in the county. President Du Rant will name his committee mem ber later. They will seek the do nation of purebred calves to be given worthy 4-H boys who will be unaer ODiigauon xaier to give a calf to another worthy member and form a chain of donhted cal » ves that will fill the county with good milch cows. North Carolina imports half of her milk suppl.es from other states. The value of the dairy industry is greater in dollars and cents than cotton, corn, tobacco and any other farm crop. Milk is one food that hu man beings can’t live without. It is time for the leading citizens of the county to develop this industry for our own good and for the fu ture of our children. Mr. Wilson’s remarks and Mr. Kimery’s address were rebroadcast at 6:15 this morning on Farmer Gray’s program, WSPA. Thunderhead, Son of Flicker, is the name of the movie to be shown Wednesday and Thursday at Try on Theater, instead of the one ad vertised in Monday’s Bulletin. Miss Eleanor Edwards has re tnurned to Asheville after a vis it with Mrs. Ted Bates. Fred Ayling is here for a few days. The Rev. C. P. Burnett is hold ing Sunday services at the Epis copal church in Saluda during the month of June. Has Been Called Off W. C.
