Bates and son, Thomas Lincoln Bates, are visit ing relatives in New York and Rhode Island. “With an Army Air Force Ser vice Command Depot in Italy.— Private First Class Perry Mc Carol, son of Oliver McCarol and husband of Mrs. Annie Lue Mc Carol, Tryon, N. C., was recently promoted to Technician Fifth Grade. T[5th McCarol’s promotion was a reward for his fine perform ance of duty while stationed at this Depot. Technician Fifth Grade Mc Carol is a member of the 469th Military Police Company assigned to this Depot to maintain the high standards of security prevalent throughout this Theatre.
