Those dismissed Sunday, July 29, Walter L. Rhodes, Tryon; Virginia Chapman, after tonsilectomy, Try on; John Madison, Tryon Route 1; Mrs. Frances Sarver, Asheville; J. C. Williams, Lynn. Kyle C. Eller of Saluda was admitted Saturday. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gibbs of Tryon on Sunday, July 29th. Mrs. Virginia Griffin (colored) and baby boy of 'Tryon, were dis missed Saturday, July 28th. GAFFNEY YOUTH KILLED IN AIRPLANE CRASH Acum Stacy 17-year-bld son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Stacy of Gaffney, died at the Cherokee Coun ty Hospital in Gaffney at 8 last night from injuries suffered two hours earlier when a trainer plane which he had rented from the local Palmetto Flying School crashed into a power line in the Timber Ridge community several miles south of Gaffney.
