Pfc. James P. O’Sullivan has re
turned from overseas after serv
ing seven months in Italy. Pfc.
O’Sullivan has a 30-day furlough.
He will report to Fort Bragg, N.
C., for reassignment for special
training. He also has a Purple
Heart and a Good Conduct Medal,
Combat Pin and Bronze Star. He
is the son of Mrs. J. H. Wheeler
and the husband of Mrs. Eula
O’Sullivan.
Miss Clara O’Sullivan has re
turned to her home in Landrum
after a visit with friends in
Gaffney, S. C.
Jack Childers, MoMM3|c, spent
the week-end with relatives at
Landrum. He is now stationed at
Charleston, S. C., Navy Yard.
Pvt. Grady Jackson was home
for the week-end.
Cpl. and Mrs. Clarence Wilson
and little daughter, Brenda Kay,
were visiting Mr. and Mrs. John
Wilson Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Robertson
of Montclair, N. J., have arrived
for their annual visit at Mimosa
Inn.
There will be an all-day singing
at Bill’s Creek church on the
fourth Sunday in August.
