WALGREEN AGENCY 4-H Picnic Planned Adult 4-H Leaders and 4-H boys and girls are invited to a county wide all day picnic which will be held at the Green River Plantation formerly owned by Miss Maude Coxe and now owned by Mrs. Daisy Forbes, who. has invited the mem bers to meet on her beautiful grounds on Thursday, August 23, from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. The picnic will take the place of the usual 4-H club camp. Mr. L. R. Harrill, State 4-H Club Lead er, will speak to the group and conduct some group singing. Some of the time will be taken up with games, stunts and recreation for the enjoyment of the children. All 4-H Club Leaders and adults who come to furnish transporta tion, are invited to go through the famous Plantation House where Mrs. Forbes will explain the his tory connected with the furnish ings, etc. Only club members who are carrying on their project work and have their records up to date are invited to this picnic. Adult leaders are arranging transportation with their groups, (one of the parents might have a pick-up truck and could bring the entire group' for a small fee per member). Each club member is to bring a picnic lunch which will Jbe spread with the group, and two tablespoons of sugar to sweet en the drinks. Make a special ef fort to be there.
