Max Feagan Appointed Polk Tax Collector Max Feagan of Columbus was appointed Tax Collector of Polk County on Wednesday morning by the County Commissioners to fill out the unexpired term of the late W. C. Hague. Mr. Feagan is a returned war veteran, having served in the South Pacific. For a number of years he has been a member of the Democratic Execu 1 tive Committee, and other civic committees.
