KIWANIS GROWING iC. P. Rogers had charge of the Tryon Kiwanis Club program on Tuesday and introduced Dr. E. J. Coltrane, president of Brevard College, who is the lieutenant gov ernor of division one of the Caro linas Kiwanis district. Dr. Coltrane gave a outline of the growth in membership and in the number of clubs throughout Kiwanis Inter national which now includes Alas ka and Hawaii. He emphasized the need for more Kiwanis Educa tion whieh stresses the develop ment of those spiritual values which make for happiness, better homes and better communities, and he pictured the unhappiness of the ttttan who did not have time to do Hpic welfare work, and who spent ^xost of his time in selfish pur suits. He stated that the useful ness of Kiwanis in making men happier and in building a better nation is growing rapidly. Subscription to The Bulletin out of county, one year $A; in county, $8. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Mowery of Eustis Fla., are guests at Mi mosa Inn. Mr. Mlowery is a lead ing Rotarian at Eustis and is ac tive in civic affairs.
