Tryon 58; Boiling Springs 0 (Outlined by Dutton Beatson) Tryon kicked off to Boiling Springs.. Tryon regained the ball and after a series of plays Moore scored on an end run. The kick was good and Tryon had 7 to 0. A fumbb for Boiling Springs made way for Tryon’s second score wtih Coke Foster carrying it over on a left end run and again the kick was good—14 to 0. Moore scored again late in first period and plunged the line for the extra point. Tryon had 21 to 0 at the end of the first quarter. Coke Foster and R. Anderson did the scoring in the second per « Foster’s score coming on a 55 dash, the longest run of the ■noon, and Anderson’s on a left end run from the 5 yard line. In both attempts for extra points the kicks were no good and Tryon led at the half 33 to 0. In the third quarter Tryon took to the air and the accurate pass ing of Beatson and Bill Dick put Tryon 12 points further ahead of their foes. The first score com ing on a pass from Dick to Rhodes and the second from Beatson to Melton. Both attempts for extra points were no good. Score 52-0. The final score came in the last period when Bud Foster scatted his own right end. Thus, Tryon walked away—58 to 0.
