On Fire Loss
Mrs. Florence Haynes, whose
home burned Friday morning, lost
not only her home and furnishings
but her opportunity for making a
living, for her sewing machine and
loom were both destroyed. If any
one has a foot pedal sewing ma
chine that they are willing to give
or sell at a reasonable price, will
they please contact me.
She also needs a wardrobe, a
dresser, a cot mattress and a
couple of pillows and some old
fashioned irons.

Mrs. Chas. W. Nessmith has ar
rived from Philadelphia for a visit
with her mother, Mrs. A. B. Black
well.
Mr, and Mrs. Ryan McCown and
children, and Miss Dot Millikin,
spent the week-end at Crescent
Beach, S.. C., with Mrs. R. H.
Millikin.
