REUNION AT RECTORS Mr. and Mrs. Byron Rector were hosts Sunday at the first reunion of the Rector family in many years. Those present were Mr. and Mrs N. R. Rector, Sr., of St. Peters burg, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Raff and daughter. Linda Ray, of Spartanburg; Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Reynolds and daughters, Judith and Jane; Mr. and Mrs. N. R. Rector, Jr., and Miss Jennie Sue Rector, all of Tryon. Mr. N. R. Rector, Sr., came to Tryon 20 years ago from Virginia [when he bought the Home Laun piry. Later he established Rector’s Dry Cleaning Plant and made mod ern improvements from time to time. He bought a home on Lake Lanier and paved the way for oth er members of his family who have settled in this section. When the local bank was formed during the depression, he was one of the char ter members of the board of direc tors, a charter member of the Ki wanis Club and an officer of the Methodist Church. A few years ago he retired and moved to St. Petersburg, Fla., but spends part of each year with members of his family in Tryon. Circle No. 1 of the Tryon Meth odist Church W.S.C.S., will meet Tuesday afternoon at 3 p. m. at the home of Mrs. L. F. Buchanan. Mrs. John R.
