HOSPITAL NEWS A daughter was born Tuesday at St. Luke’s hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Grover Case of Saluda. Tonsil operation for Hoyt Raeburn of Landrum Route 1. C. D. Johnson and Alvin Burns of Saluda Route 1, are being treated for injuries received in truck wreck. Mrs. Mary Stearns Graham has returned as a patient. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Stevens of Greenwich, Conn., visited their niece, M*s. John Fuldner, this week while enroute to Florida. A daughter, Doris Carrol, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Chester Beayon, nee Elizabeth Moore of Castleton, Vt., on October 22, at the Rutland Hospital, Rutland, Vt. Mrs. Beayon is a daughter of Mrs. Edith Moore of Tryon. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Kell had as guests the past few days, Mrs. Kell's aunt, Mrs. R. E. Gee, and her cousin. Mrs W. C. Barre, of Newberry. S. C. John Donald has gone to New York to attend a horse show at Madison Square Garden. I can bake on order cakes, cookies, pies, and cup cakes with my allotment pf sugar only on Saturdays.
