Heazel, prominent Asheville at torney and civic leader, has been elected president of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce. Heazel, a native of Shenandoah, Va., is a -Continued on Back Page_ SHOOTING HERE FRIDAY The Polk County Wildlife Club is sponsoring a trap shoot at Har mon Field, Friday afternoon, Dec. 20, at 1 o’clock. The Rutherford County Wildlife Club and all others interested, have been invited to try their skill for. some of the 100 turkeys to be awarded at the meeting. THE CHRISTMAS DANCE The St. Agnes Guild, feeling the need for entertainment for the v young people of the community, is this year reviving the annual Christmas dance at the Parish House. The dance is not limited to ’teen-agers, but everyone, both young arid old, is invited. The dance will be held Monday, Janu ary 30th, and will be under the di j rection of Mrs. Wm. Spivey, Last Call for Greetings This is not a solicitation, but we don’t want to leave anybody out. The annual Christmas edition of the Bulletin with greetings from business people to their friends will be published December 24, but we mtist start printing that Bulle : tin NOW, two pages at a time. • Over 28 pagesj of ads have already come in.
