Blanton, Miss Hamrick and Miss Cline in charge of the pro gram, which was on “Family Fi nancial Planning’’ in which some unusual information was brought to -the women, information which should lead to better management of the family income, and which should wake the club members to the knowledge that everyone should make a will, whether the possessions be large or small. At the close of the meeting Mrs. Blan ton served delicious refreshments, and the social hour was a high light of the evening. Students returning to schooi since the New Year are: Miss Betty Jean Gibbs and Miss Kath leen Pittman to Furman Univer sity; Bill McFarland to Lenoir Rhyne; J. Alvin Wilson, to North Carolina State; and Kay Wilson to Berea. Mrs. Ada Brown of Clinton, S. C., is visiting her sister, Mrs. Lizzie D. Ormand. Mrs. J. M. Hodge of Ruther fordton is spending a few days with relatives here. Mir. and Mrs. Virgil Gaines of Lantfrum were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Shehan.
