The Methodist Softball team will play Adams-Millis Wednes day afternoon at 4 o’clock. The Baptist will play the Billiard Boys at 6 p. m. Mr. and Mrs.* M. B. Flynn have as guests Ralph Easton of Washington, D. C. and Samuel Eaton Merrill of Marion, Cape Cod, Mass. This is a heartfelt plea to the new city administration and the Polk County authorities to aggressively enforce the laws to protect the community from the unlicensed and vicious dogs roam ing our streets and woods. Last Saturday, at dusk, one of them killed our beloved cat, Scampy, on the fringe of the garden to which he has, with a dignified air of proprietorship welcomed so many visitors.
