Corpening To Take Post -Continued from Page One_ and a herd of 30 registered Polled Herefords. Mr. Corpening said the plans called for increasing both herds to about 60 head. In addition, Mr. Kimberly has a large stock farm at Neenah, Wis., with about 50 head of milking Guernseys, a poultry unit and breeding ,hogs!. Mr. ’Goifnening plans to spend some time at the Wisconsin form in July. Eskdale is also noted for its fine stable of hunters and jumpers, who have exhibited in the Henderson vile and other horse shows. —Hendersonville Times-News. SOFTBALL NEWS Adam-Miillis defeated the Blue Ridge Weavers 3 to 2 Monday evening at Harmon Field. The Tryon Firemen will play the Bap tist tonight at 6:30. Mrs. Edith Moore of South Woodstock, Vermont, had a let ter recently from her son, Seaman First Class, Nathan Moore, form erly o£ Tryon, who writes that the Mediterranean cruise was wonderful, though they had no leave in Crete.
