4-H Delegates To Attend
4-H Week In Raleigh
Delegates were selected from the
County School Clubs by the 4-H’ei*s
on a basis of past 4-H work,
records, * and natural leadership.
The election took place this past
week at recreation meetings in
each of the County's Clubs. One
boy and one girl will represent
each of the Senior Clubs as fol
lows:
Green Creek: Alvin Stott and
Imogene Horne. «
Mill Spring: Dan Jackson and
Juanita Fowler.
Sunny View: Vernon Steppe and
Iona Wilson.
Steams (Columbus): Gerald Ed
wards and Polly Williams.
Salttda: Joe Raymond Stephen
son and Jennie Arledge.
The transportation and part of
the registration fee for each mem
ber will be paid by the 4-H County
Council. This money was collected
by sponsoring a square dance at
Saluda by the county group.
Some of the activities of the 4-H
Week will include demonstrations
in project work. Tours of Raleigh,
team demonstrations in methods
of instruction, State Dress Revue,
judging of livestock, and tours of
State College and its facilities.—
