Citizens committee appointed to develop conservation program. . . This week in Rutherford County court a woman was given a di vorce and annulment the same day. She had gone to Florida and got ten a divorce from her first hus band, and came home to marry another man. In the meantime her Florida divorce was declared ille €1; so she had to get a ‘divorce North Carolina from one man d an anulment from the second husband .... The attendance at the Rutherford County Pair esti mated at 60,000 .... Forest City grocery stores will continue to close Wednesday afternoons throughout the winter. . . Dr. Louie D. Newton, noted Baptist religious leader is now writing the Sunday school lesson each week in The Polk County News. Somebody said yesterday was a perfect day.
