go around with a hat. You al
ways give to everything that comes
along. But this Trade Street
decorations is a community propo
sition. Everybody seems to be as
busy as you are and they* can’t
afford to leave their business and
work for the community. Your
money is important, but more im
portant is your spirit and enthu
siasm, your eagerness to come for
ward, take the iniative and volun
teer a donation on your own ac
cord. That makes you a positive
force in the community. Positive
forces are the ones that accom
plish things^ We can’t grow if
we let George do everything. Money
is important, but the spirit behind
the money* puts a flavor and en
thusiasm into the work that can’t
be bought. That spirit is what
makes Tryon different from so
many towns much larger and with
more possibilities.
