The young folk have been having parties galore and there are more scheduled for nexft week. Let happiness and joy reign for the King of Kings brought true love into the world to teach us to love one another. . . . The Town of Tryon Office, Bank, Federal Savings, Duke Power, Court House, Tryon Shoe Hospital and some other business lumses will be closed Monday. Sunnydale is having a Christmas Dance. Oak Hall and Sunnydale have advertised big Christmas dinners. Many homes and yards have beautiful lighted Christmas trees.
