Judge George E. Bell has a clip ping from the Jacksonville, Fla., Journal of Jan. 4th which has a four column picture of Mrs. Lloyd D. DeLoach, 778 Acosta St., and her baby, Michael Gieger DeLoach, born on New Year’s Day at 12:01 a. m. Mrs. DeLoach is the former Miss Virginia Fowler, daughter of Mrs. Pedraja, former manager of the Western Union office in Tryon. Mrs. F. P. Bacon of the Blue Ridge Weavers has returned from Atlanta, Ga., where she attended the gift show. Mrs. K. A. Bowen and daughters, Ann and Barry have returned from a trip to Atlanta, Ga.
