Polk County citizens are getting interested in having something done about their roads and at least two groups have al ready met with Commissioner Joseph. Graham to present their cases. One group of citizens from all over the county packed the court house in Columbus Thursday night to discuss the road situation with Commissioner Graham. The new commissioner stated that he was making a study of the situa #and was seeking the advice 11 the people in order to give most benefit to the greatest number. He said that the school bus and farm to market roads would be taken , care of first. The highwav personnel has not been completed. Engineer Peck has succeeded Hugh Noell as chief I engineer. Other engineers and supervisors will be named soon. G. Harrison Bridgeman, Tryon Township Precinct chairman and D. H. Miller. Green Creek Precinct chairman have been named on Commissioner Graham’s advisory, staff .... Burnham S.
