GETER THOMPSON
Geter Thompson, 49, died at 6
a. m., Saturday in Detroit, Mich.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs.
Vance Thompson of Tryon; a sis
ter, Mrs. Austin Smith of Hick
ory; and five brothers, Crocker
and Keith of Detroit; Hanford,
Hubbard and Walden of Tryon.
The b.ody will arrive in Tryon
Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock
and will be taken the home of
Hubbard Thompson in the Valley
where it will remain until Wed
nesday at 1 o’clock when if will
be taken to Silver Creek church
where it will lie in state from
2 to 3 p. m., the hour of funeral.
Services will be conducted by the
Rev. Robert Early.
S. I. BEMISDEFER
Samuel I sen Bemisdefer, 82, of
Greencastle, Penn., died Sunday at
7:10 p. m. at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. R. B. Green, Tryon
Route 1.
Mr. .Bemisdefer had been ill
about 8 weeks.
Surviving besides Mrs. Green,
are: 3 sons, Franklin R. of Cleve
land Heights, O., Jacob of Green
castle and Ralph Bemisdefer of
Hanover, Penn.
The body will be sent to Green
castle by Petty’s Funeral Home
of Landrum.
