Negro Scouts Advanced The Negro Scouts of Tryon held their Court of Honor Monday night at the colored school. Negro Scout Executive James Adams of Gas tonia was in charge of the meet ing. Serving on the court were William Hannon, J. T. Foster, James Bryan, and Prof. W. H. Green. Scouts advanced were Savannah Johnson to tenderfoot; Herman Hannon, Frank and Radolph Mill er to second class; James Epps to star rank. Hugh Wood received the merit badge for dog care. Billy Baker, Cary Page and Vance McCown have arrived home from Sewanee Military Academy for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hickox of Bedford, N. Y., have returned to Tryon for the winter and are guests at Oak Hall. Mrs. H. Lan Moore has gone to Mt. Kisco, N .Y., to spend the holi days with her daughter, Mrs. Mor gan Warner.
