OSCAR GREEN Columbus.—Funeral services for Oscar Green, 66, who died Monday afternoon at Spartanburg General Hospital, will be held Wednesday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. The time to be announced. Mr. Green was a native of Polk County. He was a son of the late George P. and Emma McGinnis Green. He was a member of Hick ory Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are: one brother, H. F. Green of Landrum Rt. 1, and a number of nephews and nieces. HANDICRAFT SHOW There were some very beautiful and interesting articles at the Handicraft Show Friday, March 31, held at the Library. The com mittee wishes to thank everyone who brought exhibits and helped in making the show a success. There will be another show in 1952, at which only articles made between now and then will be shown. In 1951, there will be an art exhibit. These are for the bene fit of the Lanier Library.
