“THE FAMILY UPSTAIRS” For their second presentation of the current 10 week season, Vagabond Players at the Lake Summit Playhouse turn to the Broadway comedy hit, “The Fam ily Upstairs” beginning Tuesday, July 4th, at 8:30 and continuing through Saturday, July 8th, with matinees on Wednesday and Sat urday at 2:30. “The Family Upstairs” was writ ten by Harry Delf and became one of producer Sam Harris' greatest hits at the Gaiety Theatre in New York. Since then it has been a perennial favorite with summer wfeck audiences. The play has ^Jnieved popularity with every member of the family, probably be cause it is a comedy dealing with the folksy and heartwarming ad ventures of average American life. Ross Manning, Don Dubbins and Cort Westover, members of last summer’s company, make their initial bow this season as father, boy friend, and dress designer, re spectively, supported by Peggy Deane, Nina Bailey and Muriel Fleit. Players making their debut on the Playhouse stage are Warren Ames, who joined the Vagabonds in Florida and Pat and Tommy Orr. The production is directed by Zack Waters with an appropriate apartment setting by Arthur Bay er. STORY HOUR in the CHILDREN’S ROOM Lanier Library Every Thursday 10 O’clock TRYON COUNTRY CLUB Is owned and maintained by public spirited citizens of the community who wish to pro vide wholesome recreation not only for them selves but for visitors in the community. Membership Is Limited Green Fees $2 per day on week-ends and holidays.
