LIBBY’S LINES The most exciting news at the Tryon Country Club in some J;ime was the hole-in-one made by Jim Gibson Sunday afternoon the 3 par No. 8 while playing with Jane Brown, Elena Garcia, and Mrs. Joe Kerby. Jim used a 2 iron for his miraculous shot which landed just short of the cuff rolling on to the green and into the cup as if pulled by a magnet. The golf course is lovely now and in very excellent condition which seems to have been an incentive for low scores among some of the golfers. Dr. Horace Lyons carded a 34 Saturday while playing with the Charles Stratfords, and Jane Brown shot a 38 which was her lowest on the Tryon course. One of the most original displays on Trade Street is the Moss Guil bert’s clever miniature Toy House show case hooked on to the wall between Missildine’s and the —-fiontinued on Sack Page_
