Wednesday and Thursday a special movie will be on at Tryon Theatre. And there are numerous church group meetings every afternoon in the week. Watch The Bulletin for the meeting you want to attend. .... Today’s Spartanburg Herald had a group picture of the speaker at the first Beta Club National convention in 1934. In the group was Evaline Nash of Landrum, now Mrs. Milton Smith of Green ville. Landrum had the very first Beta Club with Elizabeth Landrum as president as an experiment by Wofford College faculty. It has grown into a membership of 41,000 in 1,815 chanters in 16 states . * . Chairman Elbert H.
