TRYON TEAM WINS
On the first day of the Blue
Ridge Conference Tournament at
! Hendersonville, the Tryon boys de
feated Brevard 44 to 42 with Bob
Ramsey leading the way with 23
} points. The Tryon High lassies
’ upset the favored Hendersonville
girls 36 to 28 behind the fine play
of Pittman and Nanney, who had -
I 15 and 14 points respectively. The
Tryon boys Were eliminated later
by Christ School 71 to 42.
Columbus To Play Tonight
The Columbus town team will
play the YMCA Bobcats tonight
at 9:15 at the Spartanburg Junior
College gymnasium in the first
round of the Spartanburg County
YMCA Tournament.
